Singing has long been a tradition in the Ozark Mountains, and the hills of Eureka Springs, Arkansas have been alive with the harmonious sounds of the Ozarks Chorale for almost a quarter century.
Founded by a small group of dedicated singers in 1994, the Ozarks Chorale proudly celebrates its upcoming season of classical and pop choral works under the expert musical direction of Artistic Director and Conductor Jess Wade and accompanied by Ellen Stephenson.
The musical library of the Chorale ranges from Classical works such as Handel’s “Messiah” with accompanying orchestra, to Dave Brubeck’s “Take Five” with Jazz ensemble accompaniment. Romantic works such as Brahms “Liebeslieder Waltzes” to gospel, pop, folk, and Broadway hits are Chorale favorites.
The Ozarks Chorale boasts the ability to sing anything from Bach to Beatles! With such a diverse repertoire, the Chorale is a favorite in Northwest Arkansas. Calling the Eureka Springs Historical Auditorium “home”, the Chorale but also performs in other venues. Check our Events listing for dates, times, and locations. Families plan their vacations to make sure they are here when the Chorale performs. Here’s a peek at our upcoming concert schedule. We hope to see you there!
